Tutor Centre fundraiser for the SPCA

The Bethlehem Tutor Centre in Môrelig, under the umbrella of the ChangeNetSA Group, ran a unique project from 3 to 7 August to raise funds for the centre, but mainly for the SPCA.

Five fridge magnets could be ordered from Magnetic Memories for R150, with the emphasis on having special people, pets or other memories in full view daily by means of these magnets.

The project was organised by tutor Tanya Kuret-Coetzer, and the magnets were produced by Marcelle Scott from Magnetic Memories. Students, parents and friends participated enthusiastically. A good amount was raised to boost the school's income, and a substantial contribution could be made to assist the SPCA in feeding and caring for the animals in their care.
